St. Tammany Levee District
SB 342 by Senator Jack Donahue is scheduled for a committee hearing on Thursday, April 3, in the Senate Transportation Committee, upon adjournment of the Senate (as early as 10am). The bill establishes the St. Tammany Levee, Drainage and Conservation District to provide local focus on critical storm protection projects that require long term planning, expertise, and funding. The business community understands the connection between a safe environment and a prosperous economy.
